Scriptwriter/Summer Intern
Job is: Full-time Summer internship starting at end of Spring semester to possible Fall, Winter internship to Full-time position
Job is intended for: Undergraduate Seniors & Graduate students with concentrations in Screenwriting, Theater, Television and Film.
Location: Philadelphia, PA
Company: Davenport Investments, LLC, (“DI, LLC”) a Lenfest Enterprises, LLC Company, is a national real estate investment firm that develops and invests in new and existing multi-family properties.
Position Objective: Develop a script for a unique TV show which features various real estate developments domestically and internationally. The show highlights properties for sale to U.S. buyers.
Position Description: Script writing will be geared towards marketing real estate developments in the US, Canada, Caribbean and Central America to U.S. buyers. Property types will include single family homes, condominiums, condo-hotels, track developments and resorts. The show will have a host format and the script will describe the benefits, unique attributes and amenities of each development while incorporating footage of the property and surrounding area as well as graphics, testimonials etc. In addition, the candidate will be exposed to all aspects of producing and airing the television show.
The candidate will gain great experience, exposure and insight into script writing, production, marketing and development of television content/programming and the ability to contribute their own insights and recommendations.
Position involves direct interaction with companies Principals.
Requirements: Candidate must have script writing experience and coursework as well as excellent written communication skills and be energetic and creative. Real estate knowledge helpful.
