Duties:
The key responsibility is to maintain the database, including posting of donations and sending thank yous, producing reports as requested, and maintaining the mailing list. Requires accuracy and attention to details.
Maintain donor relations including receiving donor inquiries and making follow-up phone calls to donors and solicitors.
Manage calendar of campaign events and assist campaign staff in preparing for those events including copying and collating packets of materials.
Assist with public events including sending out mailings and assisting with logistics.
Accompany Campaign Director and Assistant Director to events and assist with follow-up.
Assist with developing campaign public relations materials and displays.
Possible supervision of some volunteers.
Additional responsibilities as indicated by available time, skills, interests, and campaign needs.
Qualifications:
Skillful in use of word processing, databases, and spreadsheets. Web skills desirable. Excellent written and spoken communication skills. Well organized self-starter. Ability to manage varied duties and deadlines. Knowledge of Religious Society of Friends desirable.
Period of Employment: This is a full-time, temporary position. We seek someone who can start immediately and who can work through the project end date of December 31, 2007.
Salary: Salaried based on $22,000 - $27,000 per year, with benefits
