Internship available at Philadelphia’s premier urban farm and nursery for the 2007 season. Greensgrow is an innovative non-profit organization that operates a successful business on a former brownfield site in the Kensington section of Philadelphia. Intensive Season-Long Internship
Description: Intern will focus on the daily work of running an urban nursery and farmstand/CSA operation. Intern will work closely with staff, in a broad range of activities.
Requirements/Qualifications: 25 hours per week, April through October. Interns must be motivated and self-directed. We work in a fast-paced and physically challenging environment, and you must be able to interact professionally with a wide range of the public when Greensgrow is open.
Compensation: $9/hour
